Dunbrody Cookery School has been designed to cater for all levels of cooks, from budding enthusiasts to the experienced gourmet. The perfect blend of demonstration and hands-on individual tuition means that you will learn practically and be able to reproduce the dishes at home in your own kitchen.

Located opposite Dunbrody Country House where the restaurant has received numerous awards the simple philosophy of under-stated but delicious food follows on in the Dunbrody Cookery School.

All of the courses at the Dunbrody Cookery School have been personally designed by Celebrity Masterchef Kevin Dundon. Under the care and guidance of our Cookery School Chef guests will learn the secrets of producing fine food using only the best of quality Irish ingredients. The emphasis at Dunbrody Cookery School is on freshness of ingredients and utilising these to achieve fabulous dishes without the worry of overly-complicated recipes.

Courses range from a variety of one day courses to the ever popular two day Dinner Parties for Six course. With groups of up to ten we offer guests the chance to translate their enthusiasm and love for food into the real skills needed to produce fantastic food. Our belief is that cooking should be fun and our courses are designed to be fun also.

~ 1 Day Courses at €165 per person 9.30 - 4.30 ~ 2 Day Courses at €315 per person 9.30 - 4.30 ~ 4 Night Course from Mon 6th Oct and Mon 24th Nov at €315 per person 6.00 - 9.30pm ~ Maximum Number of students is 10 ~ Course must have a maximum 3 students to proceed ~ All bookings must be confirmed by credit card or deposit ~ Cancellation policy : Within 4 - 7 days there will be a 50% charge applied and within  4 days 100% ~ Exclusive Group Bookings are available ~ Group Bookings - a 50 % deposit is required (can also apply to 2 x 1 day courses booked consecutively)

Special midweek and weekend rates and packages are available online or by contacting the hotel directly. These are subject to availability and some terms and conditions do apply.   We recommend that guests book in the night before the course as courses start at 9.30am sharp each morning and finishes at approximately 4.30pm.
